We sold our last balloon at 7:55pm. As we were packing up, one volunteer’s  son gave out the rest. We knew what we had to do before hand and had enough volunteers. However, the man who said he was coming to help me did not come:( The tents were well prepared thanks to one  and my team. We had a good water balloon teacher. I would like, if possible, for us to think of a fun way for the Tanabata story to be acted out. Maybe on the stage? Not many stayed to listen and only one came. Perhaps a set time will help as typed on the program that is handed out.

About charleswinstead

having lived in japan for 3.5 years i wish to "go back to the island" as often as i can. i lived from 1999-2003. i went back in 2007, then again in 2011. i am a full time teacher, so the best time to go for me is during the summer vacation. it works out well because i love the sensational feelings i get in japan during the summer...especially playing taiko and eating lots of ma-cha ice.
